The 2nd Annual 24 Hours of the Doughnuts Marathon

Our Festivus Marathon begins December 22nd at 8pm Eastern.

Polish your poles and stuff your face with (donut) holes, it’s that time of year once again! Festivus season marks one of our yearly traditions at RetroStrange TV: 24 Hours of The Doughnuts (1963), our favorite mesmerizing short film.

The show begins on December 22nd at 8pm Eastern and runs through December 23rd at the same time. Get yourself some snacks and let yourself be carried away on the waves of the ocean that is The Doughnuts. Join us in the Discord community if you want to say hi.

RetroStrange Repeater is now RetroStrange Select

After a few weeks of operation, we’ve decided to rename our newest streaming channel from RetroStrange Repeater to RetroStrange Select. The curator and I believe this new name fits the intent of the channel more closely, and is less confusing to new viewers.

You can still watch at

RetroStrange Repeater

RetroStrange TV launched officially on March 31st, 2021 (the day before April Fools, of course). Today we’re announcing the first big addition to RSTV since it’s launch: A new separate channel called Repeater located at

RetroStrange Repeater is your window into The Real Good Shit. A 24/7 stream of repeating showcase content such as the newest movies and shorts we’ve added to our main channel, RetroStrange Channel One (The Feed).

Repeater will loop our latest features The Bat (1959) and First Spaceship on Venus (1960) for 1 week, so tune in if you missed those features on Movie Night. Next Sunday Repeater will switch over to horror content with new featured movies for the whole month of October.

There’s a new page on the site so you can find either channel at your leisure: Just hit up and you’ll find the channel picker.

This Saturday night, September 24th, is the next RetroStrange Movie Night. The kickoff time is 5:30pm. On this edition you’ll thrill, chill, and spill to:

  • Industrial safety shorts from The Safety Squad Archives
  • First Spaceship on Venus (1960)
  • Halloween-like Intermission Content and shorts
  • The Bat (1959)
  • Maybe more stuff if we aren’t too drunk

It’ll be fun! Join us starting 5:30pm Pacific at

RetroStrange Movie Night 37 Is September 3rd

We don’t have a ton of information for you right now but we’re definitely having a movie night in September and possibly even two! Both will be broadcast on RetroStrange TV.

This weekend we’ll be watching first The Eye Creatures (1965), and then Attack from Space (1964).

RetroStrange Movie Night Comedy Showcase 5/21/22

RetroStrange Movie Night returns on May 21st with a comedy duo for the ages: Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton! Our start time is 5:00pm, where we’ll show some new short subjects during the 15 minute pre-show, then Chaplin will dazzle you in The Gold Rush (1925). We’ll have a 30-minute intermission between, then Keaton stars in Sherlock Jr. (1924).

RetroStrange Movie Night: 4/20 Fest

Starting at 5:00pm Pacific we’ll whet your whistle with 30 minutes of goofy fun shorts, and then get real (silly) with Marihuana: Assassin of Youth, a 1937 anti-weed propaganda film. We’ll keep the party going after with an hour of shorts and cartoons, then our main event: The grand-daddy anti-drug propaganda of ’em all, Reefer Madness. Then, to send you off to slumber with a smile on your face 4 back to back to back to back showings of The Doughnuts.

The RetroStrange 4/20 Marathon is 2 classic propaganda features, and a dozen tripped-out cartoons and shorts that pair well with getting your smoke on.

RetroStrange Movie Night: Teenagers From Outer Space (1959)

Teenagers from Outer Space is the next movie night feature, March 19th.

The next Movie Night is this weekend! Tune in for two showings of Teenagers from Outer Space: 1st at 7:00pm Eastern and again at 7pm Pacific. Watch along on RetroStrange.TV.

RetroStrange Movie Night: The Screaming Skull

The next RetroStrange Movie Night is Saturday, February 26th! Our feature will be The Screaming Skull (1958). You may remember this film from Season 9 of Mystery Science Theater 3000.

Most movie nights have been double features, but we’ll be doing things a little differently this time. Instead of two movies starting a bit too early on the west coast and a bit too late on the east coast, we are having TWO shows in the same day to accommodate our viewers in multiple time zones: 7pm EST and then again at 7pm PST.

We hope you’ll join us this weekend on RetroStrange.TV.
